I was 14 years old when I got into photography, with a Russian-made Smena camera. My Dad and I started shooting B&W film, then we built a fully-manual lab in our only bathroom, and then we went on to colour photography ("let's try the 25% red filter, Dad"). It was magic - the magic I still yearned for, from my childhood.
Later I took snapshots for more than twenty years. I still regret all those moments lost.
These last years, I have fallen in love again with photography. I am lucky enough to travel and to photograph landscapes, cities, their streets and their people, the mountains I love, or my favourite sport, skiing.
